神々はスサノオに対して怒った。
本来スサノオは死者の国を治めるはずだった。
スサノオは死者の国に行く途中、高天原に挨拶に来た。
スサノオは長逗留した。
そして、スサノオは数多くの悪戯をして天照を困らせた。
天照が弟思いだった為許されていた。
だが、スサノオは今回は許されなかった。
神々はスサノオの罪を罰した。
スサノオは数多くの品物を献上した。
神々の罰は過酷だった。
スサノオは髪を抜いた。
スサノオは手足の爪を剥いだ。
そして雨が降る中、スサノオは高天原から追い出された。
