しかし、彦火火出見尊は火闌降命の釣り針を無くしていた。

彦火火出見尊は新しい釣り針を作って火闌降命に渡した。
火闌降命は承服しなかった。
火闌降命は元の自分の釣り針を返せと言った。
彦火火出見尊は悩んだ。
そして彦火火出見尊は自分の太刀を壊して釣り針を作った。
彦火火出見尊は大量の釣り針を作り、火闌降命に贈った。
しかし火闌降命は怒った。

火闌降命は更に彦火火出見尊を責めた。
彦火火出見尊は憂い途方に暮れた。
彦火火出見尊は浜辺に行きうめき悲しんだ。
