彦火火出見尊は海神の宮殿に三年間滞在した。
三年間は楽しく安らかな日々だった。
しかし、彦火火出見尊は故郷を思い出していた。

豊玉姫は彦火火出見尊の姿を見て、父に報告した。

豊玉姫は彦火火出見尊に言った。
「私は妊娠しています。
間もなく生まれるでしょう。
私は風や波の早い日に必ず浜に出ます。
どうか私の為に子どもを産む家を作って待っていてください。」
