God of food. Ukemochinokami

高天原では天照と月夜見が仕事をしていた。

天照は月夜見に言った。

「葦原中つ国（アシハラナカツクニ）に保食神（ウケモチノカミ）がいるそうだ。

月夜見が確認してきて下さい。」

月夜見は葦原中つ国に降り立った。

そして月夜見は保食神に会った。

保食神は陸に向けて首を廻した。

保食神は海に向けて首を廻した。

口から大小の魚が出てきた。

保食神は山に向けて首を廻した。

口から肉が出てきた。

保食神は色々な物を机の上に並べた。

そして保食神は月夜見を歓待した。

しかし月夜見は憮然とし怒った。

「汚らわしい。口から出した物を私に食べさせるのか？」

そう言うと、月夜見は剣を抜き、保食神を切り殺した。

月夜見は高天原に帰り天照に報告した。
