八咫烏は次に弟磯城(オトシキ)の家に行き鳴いた。
「天照の子がお前を呼んでいる。さあさあ。」
弟磯城は言った。
「私は天照の子が来たと聞いて朝夕畏れ、慎んだ行動をしていました。
鳥よ、あなたがたくさん鳴く事は良いことだ。」
弟磯城は8枚の皿に食べ物を盛り八咫烏をもてなした。
弟磯城はヤタガラスに導かれ磐余彦の軍営に来た。
弟磯城は磐余彦に言った。
「我が兄、兄磯城は天照の子が来たと聞いて八十梟帥（ヤソタケル）を集めました。
