冬、10月1日。
磐余彦はお供え物を食べた。
その後兵を整え出発した。
まず、磐余彦は八十梟帥(ヤソタケル)と国見丘で戦った。

磐余彦はこの戦いに必ず勝つと思っていた。
磐余彦は歌を詠んだ。
カムカゼノ、イセノウミノ、オホイシニヤ、イハヒモトヘル、シタダミノ、シタダミノ、アゴヨ、アゴヨ、シタダミノ、イハヒモトヘリ、ウチテシヤマム、ウチテシヤマム。
意味。
伊勢の海の大きな石の下で這い回る蝦蛄ように、我が軍よ、我が軍よ、蝦蛄の様に這い回り、必ず敵を殲滅しよう。
詩の心は大きな石を国見丘に例えている。

磐余彦は道臣（ミチオミ）に密かに命令した。
「お前は大来目部（オオクメラ）を率いて大きな屋敷を忍坂の邑に造りなさい。
そこで頻繁に酒盛りを行い敵を騙し討ちにしなさい。」
道臣は屋敷を忍坂に作った。

意味

味方の強者はこの詩を聞き、一斉に”クブツツの剣”と”イシツツの剣”を抜刀した。

そして詩を詠んだ。
イマハヨ、イマハヨ、アアシヤヲ、イマダニモアゴヨ、イマダニモアゴヨ。
意味
今はもう、今はもう、死者ばかり。今は我が軍だけが残った。今は我が軍だけが残った。
今、大来目部は詠った後、大いに笑う。
ここから始まっている。
また別の強者が詩を詠む。
エミシヲ、ヒタリモモナヒト、ヒトハイエドモ、タムカイモセズ。
意味

「良い武将は戦闘に勝って驕る事がない。

その実情が判らない。
長い間同じ場所にいたら敵に襲われる可能性がある。
今すぐ場所を移動しよう。」
磐余彦はその場所を捨てて別の場所に移った。
