大足彦忍代別天皇(オオタラシヒコ　オシロワケ　スメラミコト)は垂仁（スイニン）天皇の第三子です。
通称は大足彦（オオタラシヒコ）です。
大足彦の母は日葉酢媛（ヒバスヒメ）です。
日葉酢媛は丹波道主（タンバチヌシ）の娘です。
大足彦は垂仁天皇の３７年に皇太子になった。
その時２１歳。
垂仁の９９年。春。２月。
活目（垂仁）天皇が死んだ。
景行の元年。秋。７月１１日。
大足彦は皇位に就任した。
この為年号を改めた。
この年、辛羊。

景行の２年。春。３月３日。
大足彦は播磨稲日大郎姫（ハリマイナビオオイラツメ）を皇后にした。
稲日は二人の男子を産んだ。
第一が大碓（オオウス）、第二が小碓（オウス）。
大碓と小碓は双生児だった。
大足彦は出産中臼を背負って宮殿の周りを歩いていた。
出産時の古来のまじないである。
大碓が生まれて臼を降ろそうとしたら、まだ中に子どもが居る事が分かった。
その為、大足彦は臼を降ろす事が出来なかった。
大足彦は臼に向かって大声をあげた。
２人の名前の由来は臼からきている。
日本語で臼の事をUsuと言う。
小碓の別名は日本武（ヤマトタケル）です。
小碓（日本武）は幼少の頃より雄々しい性格だった。
壮年になると容姿は美しく、力強くなった。
身長は一丈、力は鼎を持ち上げるほどだった。

大足彦は諸々の神々を祀ろうとした。

大足彦は外出をその場で中止した。
大足彦は屋主忍男武雄心（ヤヌシオシオタケオゴコロ）を派遣し、祀らせた。
屋主忍男武雄心の通称は武雄心（タケオゴコロ）です。
武雄心は阿備（アビ）の柏原で神々を祀った。
武雄心は柏原に９年住んだ。
武雄心は影姫（カゲヒメ）と結婚した。
影姫は菟道彦（ウジヒコ）の娘です。
菟道彦は紀伊直一族の先祖です。
影姫は子を産んだ。
この名前は武内宿禰です。
