天日槍の神宝。
垂仁（スイニン）の８８年。秋。７月１０日。
活目（イクメ）は家臣に言った。
「昔、新羅の王子の天日槍（アマノヒホコ）が来た。
天日槍が初めて来た時宝物を持っていた。
その宝物は、今、但馬にある。
その宝は但馬の地域の人達に尊ばれ神宝になっている。
私は今その宝が見たい。」
活目はその日に使者を派遣した。
使者は天日槍の孫の清彦に命令を伝えた。
清彦は命令を受領した。
清彦は朝廷に行き、自分で宝物を献上した。
宝物は次の通りだ。
羽太（ハフト）の玉１個、足高（アシダカ）の玉１個、ウカカの赤石の玉１個、日鏡１個、熊の憑代１個。
小刀も１個あった。
名刀出石（イズシ）です。
しかし清彦は出石の献上をためらった。
清彦は出石を献上しない事に決めた。
清彦は出石を衣の中に隠して身に付けた。
活目はそれに気が付かなかった。
活目は清彦を癒した。
活目は御所で清彦に酒を与えた。
ところがその時、清彦の衣から出石が現れた。
活目はそれを見て、清彦に尋ねた。
「お前のその小刀は何の小刀ですか？」
清彦は隠しきれないと判断した。
清彦は白状した。
「献上する神宝の一つです。」
活目は言った。
「その神宝は他の神宝と別れても差し支えが無いか？」
清彦は出石を差し出した。
神宝は全て神の倉庫に納めた。
その後、神の倉庫を開いてみると、小刀は消えていた。
活目は清彦に使者を派遣した。
使者は清彦に聞いた。
「あなたが献上した小刀が消えた。
あなたのところに帰ってきていないか？」
清彦は答えた。
「昨夜、小刀の出石が一人で私の家に来た。
しかし今朝はもう居ません。」
活目はそれを聞き、畏れた。
そして慎んだ。
活目はもう出石を求めようとしなかった。
この後、出石は一人で淡路島に来た。
淡路島の人は神が来たと考えた。
淡路島の人は出石の為に祠を建てた。
出石は今もそこに鎮座している。
昔、一人の人間が小舟に乗って但馬に来た。
どこの人かと尋ねると、
「私は新羅の王子だ。
名前は天日槍だ。」
その人は言った。
その人は但馬に留まった。
その人は麻拕能烏（マタノオ）と結婚した。
麻拕能烏は前津耳（マエツミミ）の娘です。
麻拕能烏は但馬諸助（タジマモロスク）を産んだ。
但馬諸助は清彦の祖父です。
