耜友は安寧（アンネイ）天皇の第二子である。
母は渟名底仲媛（ヌナソコナカツ）姫。
母は事代主の孫である。
母の父は鴨王（カモノキミ）です。

安寧の11年。春、1月1日。
耜友は皇太子になった。
この時、耜友は16歳。
安寧の38年。冬、12月。
安寧天皇（玉手看）は死んだ。
懿徳元年。春、2月4日。
耜友は即位した。

耜友は安寧天皇（玉手看）を御陰井上（ミホトノイノエノ）御陵に埋葬した。
御陰井上御陵は畝傍山の南にある。

耜友は先代の皇后を尊び皇太后と呼んだ。

耜友は都を軽（カル）に移した。
これを曲峡（マガリオノ）宮という。

耜友は天豊津（アマトヨツ）媛を妃にした。
天豊津媛は息石耳（オキソミミ）の娘です。
息石耳は玉手看（安寧天皇）の息子です。
天豊津媛は観松彦香殖稲（ミマツヒコ-カエシネ）を産んだ。
懿徳の22年。春、2月12日。
耜友は観松彦香殖稲を皇太子にした。
この時、皇太子は18歳。
懿徳の34年。秋、9月8日。
耜友は死んだ。
77歳だった。
