大足彦死亡。

景行の56年。秋。8月。
大足彦（オオタラシヒコ）は御諸別（ミモロワケ）に言った。
「お前の父（彦狭島・ヒコサシマ）は病に倒れ、彼は赴任出来なかった。
彦狭島は早く死んでしまった。
だから、お前が父に代わり、東の国を治めなさい。」
御諸別は大足彦天皇の命令を受けた。
御諸別は父の仕事をする為に東の国へ行った。
御諸別は東の国で善政をおこなった。
蝦夷（エミシ）が騒いだ時、御諸別は派兵し、討伐した。
蝦夷の首領の足振邊（アシフリベ）・大羽振邊（オオハフリベ）・遠津闇男邊（トオツクラオベ）は御諸別の所に来た。
彼らは罪を認め、領地を差し出した。
御諸別は降伏する者を許した。
御諸別は降伏しない者を殺した。
御諸別の活躍で東の国は穏やかになった。
御諸別の子孫は今も東の国に居る。

景行の57年。秋。9月。
大足彦は坂手池を作った。
大足彦は池の堤の上に竹を植えさせた。
冬。10月。
大足彦は諸国に領地管理と戸籍管理の部門を作った。

景行の58年。春。２月１１日。
大足彦は近江に行った。
大足彦は志賀に三年住んだ。
この時の住居は高穴穂（タカアナホ）宮です。

景行の６０年。冬。１１月７日。
大足彦は高穴穂宮で死んだ。
大足彦は106歳だった。
