五十迹手からのプレゼント。

五十迹手（イトテ）は足仲彦（タラシナカツヒコ）天皇が来ることを聞いた。
五十迹手は筑紫の伊都県長官の先祖です。
五十迹手は賢木（常緑樹,神域の木）を根こそぎ抜いた。
五十迹手は賢木を船の舳先に立てた。
五十迹手は上の枝に八尺瓊（ヤサカニ）の勾玉を掛け、真ん中の枝に白銅鏡を掛け、下の枝に十握りの剣を掛けた。
五十迹手は穴門（アナト）のヒキシマで足仲彦天皇を迎えた。
そして五十迹手は足仲彦天皇に言った。
「私がこれらをプレゼントする理由があります。
八尺瓊の勾玉が曲がっているように、足仲彦天皇に天下を上手に治めてほしい。
また白銅鏡のように山や川や海原を明らかに見に行って欲しい。
十握りの剣を提げ天下を平定して欲しい。
これらの願いを込めました。」
足仲彦は五十迹手を褒めた。
足仲彦は言った。
「伊蘇志（イソシ）。」
当時の人は五十迹手の本国を伊蘇（イソ）国と呼んだ。
今、伊覩（イト）と言うのは伊蘇が訛ったからです。

足仲彦は儺（ナガ）県の橿日（カシヒ）宮に到着した。
