足仲彦（タラシナカツヒコ）は日本武（ヤマトタケル）の第二子です。
足仲彦の母は両道入姫（フタジイリヒメ）です。

足仲彦は容姿端麗で、身長は10尺です。
足仲彦は成務天皇の48年に皇太子になった。
その時、足仲彦は31歳でした。
稚足彦（ワカタラシヒコ）の子どもに男児が居なかった為、足仲彦が後継になった。
成務の60年。稚足彦（ワカタラシヒコ・成務）天皇が死んだ。
翌年、秋。9月6日。
足仲彦は稚足彦を狹城盾列池後（サキノタタナミ）陵に葬った。

仲哀の元年。春。1月11日。
足仲彦は即位した。
秋。9月1日。
足仲彦は母の皇后を尊んで皇太后と呼んだ。
冬。11月1日。
足仲彦は家臣に言った。
「私が20歳になる前に父は死んだ。
父の魂は白鳥になって天に上がった。
私は毎日父を慕って思っている。
それで陵の周りに池を作り白鳥を飼いたい。

足仲彦は白鳥を贈るように諸国に命令した。
